How it all started
The farm was established in 1995 and soon after bought cashmere goats. 2 alpaca wethers were bought as herd guards to protect the kidding goats. Alpaca wethers make great herd guards for sheep and goat protection.
Suffolk sheep were bought in 2001 and is a registered stud.
There are 5 acres of salt bush to facilitate the fodder production of the property. The alpacas tend to prefer to graze the grass between the plants allowing the bushes to grow for the sheep and goats to graze at a later date.
